Food portion is very big, cozy environment and chill vibes, nice place for tea time as they serve high tea menu too. Cakes and bagels looks good too. A big parking area. Even the Johor Sultan visited here.
had company dinner here and food was so good. i had salted egg chicken polo bun and the portion is huge. my coworkers and superiors also complimented the food. parking space is also easy as theres car park specified for their customers. overall, my experience is very good. will definitely come again later :)
Seriously I have pass through that street many times and I didn’t notice there’s a restaurant in that junction. The building is heritage and it’s unique, we can have special occasions and parties as well. When to celebrate my friends birthday dinner and the food was really great. The portion was quite big and the ambiance inside the restaurant was really great. We really enjoyed the food and the staff were really friendly. They even did a small Suprise singing birthday songs to the table. Will definitely recommend others to try their food here . They’re open for lunch as well. There are plenty of parking space .
I saw the great Google reviews and decided to give this place a try. The parking lot is spacious, the environment is beautiful with a rather classy vibe. The food presentation is appealing, and the taste is pretty good too — especially the nasi lemak, which really suited my taste. The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the higher side, but I still think it’s worth coming 👍🏻
It was our first time trying Sama-Sama Cafe and we were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. We ordered the Salted Egg Chicken Lemak Rice and the Sama-Sama Goreng and both dishes did not disappoint at all. The Salted Egg Chicken Lemak Rice had a rich, creamy flavour that blended perfectly with the fragrant rice, every bite was so satisfying! The chicken was crispy on the outside yet tender inside, coated generously in that addictive salted egg sauce. The Sama-Sama Goreng was another highlight, the spaghetti were flavourful, well-seasoned and came with the right amount of spice that added a nice kick without being overwhelming.
The ambience of the cafe was also lovely, cozy, modern and welcoming. We visited on a Friday afternoon for lunch and the crowd was just nice, not too packed, which made it a relaxing dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and our food arrived quite promptly despite the lunchtime crowd.
We also liked how the cafe is designed with a clean aesthetic and warm tones, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and catch-ups with friends. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size, which made the experience even better.
Overall, we had a great first impression and would definitely recommend Sama-Sama Cafe to anyone looking for tasty food, good service and a comfortable place to dine. We’ll surely be back to try other dishes on the menu soon!
